I am pleased to have this opportunity to introduce
you to St Mary’s School.
 Choosing
the right school for your child is one of the most important
decisions you will ever make. You will want to choose a school
with high expectations and a happy, disciplined environment
where children are encouraged to do their best and be proud
of their achievements.
St Mary’s is a three class Church of
England infant school in which staff, governors, parents and
friends of the school work together to ensure that our children
have a caring, supportive and happy start to their school
careers.
I hope this website will give you a flavour
of our approach to teaching and learning; do take time to
read our Aims and Mission Statement which underpin our philosophy
for education. We believe that our children move on from here
confidently, with a love of learning, good literary and numeracy
skills and a fund of happy memories.
