With castles on the curriculum we took our buckets and spades to a beautifully empty beach at the Big Pond to dig moats and build towers.
Woodpecker and Kingfishers children are studying castles - those in school this week walked to Frensham Big Pond to make their own castles complete with moat and flying flags.
